MDS-Rely is a proposed Center to leverage the data and materials science knowledge of Case Western Reserve University and the University of Pittsburgh to benefit the companies that are a part of the Center. More information can be found at mds-rely.org.

A planning meeting was held September 11-12 at Case Western in Cleveland, OH. The first day consisted of proposal presentations given by professors from the two universities, and the second day was for feedback and discussions. Katerina Kimes and Erica Stevens attended on the first day and gave the proposal presentation in Dr. Chmielus's stead. Dr. Chmielus attended the feedback and discussion session the second day.

The proposal presentation was well-received and we recorded a lot of very useful feedback!
